The Scoop On The Lolla Lineup!

Yeah, we can use an exclamation point now. It's officially official. Jim DeRogatis is reporting the following:

Headliners:
Radiohead
Nine Inch Nails
Rage Against the Machine
Kanye West
Wilco
The Raconteurs

And the rest:
Gnarls Barkley
The Black Keys
Broken Social Scene (!!!!)
G. Love & Special Sauce
Blues Traveler
Mates of State
Bloc Party
Cat Power
Stephen Malkmus
Girl Talk
Kid Sister
Office
The Cool Kids
Battles
The Go! Team
Jamie Lidell
Grizzly Bear

That is not the complete list, so we will have to wait to see if yesterday's guesses all come to fruition.

Holy hot friggin damn does this look promising! Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, and Rage Against the Machine better be playing on different nights or there'll be hell to pay. Per the bands' official websites, the only thing scheduled is Nine Inch Nails playing Minneapolis on Saturday night. Rage and Radiohead are currently unscheduled for the whole weekend. One has to think that Radiohead is closing on Sunday, which I assume would mean that Nine Inch Nails is Friday. Rage should then be Saturday. And if they mess this up, there'll be hell to pay! I said that already.

Furthermore... Broken Social Scene played the best set at Lolla 2006, despite a shortened set time. Bloc Party is practically a headliner, and there are plenty of other must-see acts on the list. So get psyched, people. It's going to be a busy three days to kick off August
