Unyielding Commissioning Respectfully Asks For Your Help

Interview Falling Into Place -- Radiohead was interviewed by The AV Club. They mainly discuss their albums and how the band has made their way to this point. Of course the revolutionary release of In Rainbows is covered. It's relatively serious, but does feature the following quote:

"The Last few Records, Stanley's started off with erotic imagery." "Right. His erotic topiary."
So enjoy that.

Fresh Franz -- Stereogum has video of a new Franz Ferdinand song. It souns vaguely Bowie-esque and has a bit of a strutting beat. I don't even know what I mean by that, but check it out.

Please Help Out -- Speaking of Radiohead and their release of In Rainbows, a friend of mine has just done a similar thing, but with an entirely altruistic purpose. Erik Shepard is the frontman for Chicago's Life At Sea, and he has just released his first solo record. It's called Chasing Storms and is primarily just him and his acoustic guitar. The release can also be had for whatever price you feel is appropriate, however, all proceeds from the record go to HEAL, a very worthy organization that works to advance health and education in Kenya. The album is quite good, a new step for Shepard that shows off some of his foremost strengths as a songwriter and singer. So you get to donate to a great cause and pick up some hot new tunes at the same time! What's better than that? Nothing. Go here to donate and get the album. And thanks for helpin' out. Karma smiles upon you.
