Not bad. Though I think both of those are far too kind to this abomination of a movie. I had to look through my old reviews to make sure that I gave it a higher rating than Failure To Launch. I was happy to see that FtL was at a 19, and I do reckon that two points higher than that abomination is where this abomination deserves to be placed.
Other options I considered: Bereft, Bitter, Forehead-slapping
I chose weak partly because of the paint-by-numbers aspect of the plot, where clearly a weak-minded person had just thrown a bunch of crap together. This movie is as far removed from lofty intentions as one can get. I also chose weak because I felt that there was a misogynistic lean to the picture. Yes, it was directed by a woman, but how come all the women in this movie are idiots who take no charge of their lives and are simply waiting for a man to sweep them off their feet and make everything right in the world? I found it demeaning and offensive.
The only reason it didn't get a lower score was that I felt Katherine Heigl did a good job despite the garbage material, but I'm told by people in the know that she's simply playing the same character from Grey's Anatomy. I haven't seen that show in years, so I have no perspective on the matter. Please, don't make me think about this movie any further.

Not "ill-fitting" or maybe "frumpy" ?
